Round 3 the 50 Mile Time Trial saw 15
riders step up to take the challenge
With a strong field of riders many of whom have attained PB's at many
distances already this year the stage was set for a thrilling contest.
The reigning champ (Sean Childs) had been suffering from a stomach upset
but posted an unassailable time to regain the title some 4 and half
minutes faster than his nearest rival.

RNRMCA Female Rider wins top award.
With Navy Cycling nominated in 3 out of the 4 awards it was
silverware all round at the Royal Navy Sports Awards. LMA Mhairi Muir
became the first female cyclist to become the Sportswoman of the year in

Make the hoist Bravo Zulu
It was hard fought and the closest run contest in memory but RNRMCA
riders reigned supreme at this weekends Inter Service TT Championships.
Both Army and RAF squads were bigger and better than ever but failed to
penetrate the strength and depth of the mighty Royal Navy Blue as they
battled to do the double for the fourth year in succession.
