An 848 Squadron charity event run by PO Brookes to raise money for the Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) took place on the 3rd November 2011. Nine cyclists from 848 Squadron, CHF, HMS Heron and RAF St Athan left 848 Squadron in the early hours. |

Pedal to Paris Charity Ride |

Serving and ex serving members of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines took part in a charity cycle ride in September which they all completed, the Pedal to Paris ride in aid of the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal was in its 16th year and it was also the 90th Anniversary of the Royal British Legion. |

RNRMCA Riders Raising Money For Good Causes.
Royal Navy Sailors and Royal Marines have for many years been involved in actively supporting a plethora of worthwhile charities. They do this by running/walking/eating and cycling their way around a challenging activity. With an increase in the number of RN/RM members undertaking a charity orientated cycling activity the RNRMCA wishes to assist club members by informing others of their endeavour. It should be noted that RNRMCA has no affiliation to any of the charities supported and other then the webspace herein given are not directly supporting the charity. HMS OCEAN’s cyclists have managed to get some training miles in on the road again despite all the sea time associated with being on Op ELLAMY; this time they’ve been out and about on the beautiful island of Malta.
