Sunday 31st May saw the annual running of the RNRMCA 100 Mile Time Trial Championships. Read more for further details about the clubs new Champion for 2009.

Held in conjunction with the Hounslow & District Wheelers the clubs longest distance race in the championship calendar proved a race too far for many with a lower than average turnout. However, what was lacking in quantity was certainly made up for in the quality of the field. Many RNRMCA riders have really stepped up a gear for 2009 with riders competing in events and distances previously not attempted and all around personal best times are falling as riders hone their skills and push themselves to the limit.

The weather for the event was warm and humid with a constant wind to keep the pressure on riders. Out of the 83 starters 11 failed to finish this tough test of endurance, stamina and speed.
